DUELING BANJOS

Yes....even in Slovenia they know "Dueling Banjos." Here's a shot of Pete and Saso "dueling!"

SLOVENIA

Pete is producing a guitarist that has traveled all the way here from Slovenia (formerly part of Yugoslavia). The guy's name is Saso (pronounced Sasho) and he's a wonderful guitarist. He's a fan of Pete's and emailed him last year to ask that he produce his record. He's a really nice guy and he's staying here at the house for the weekend. I'm hoping to learn a lot about his country. His English is excellent!

THIS WEEKEND

Pete and I are sitting in the Philadelphia airport. We should be home in a couple of hours. We had shows this weekend in Baltimore Saturday night and Doylestown (Philly area) on Sunday night. The shows went well. The promoter was seriously weird and had been a pain in the but for the last 3 weeks. But, we played in front of a bunch of new fans and I totally love that. If all the checks clear, well then, that will be an even bigger bonus.A young fella' by the name of Nick played one of his compositions for Pete at the workshop yesterday. He was 13 and looked a lot like Jason did when he was a little guy. He was a really impressive player and so cute.Next week is CRS! Here we go again....for about the 25th time!!!!.
